我與奧運英語演講稿

　　從幾年前北京著手申辦2008年北京奧運會開始，2008年北京奧運會這個話題就一直備受關(guān)注。目前關(guān)注的焦點已從申辦之初許下的諾言轉(zhuǎn)移到如何真正履行諾言。在我看來，要跨越諾言與現(xiàn)實之間的鴻溝，北京還有很長一段路要走。

jams have been an age-old headache in beijing, the scenes of long queues of vehicles worming their way inch by inch while discharging dark fumes into the air had given all of us a really bad impression, and i know that none of us wish to show off that side of beijing to athletes and journalists over the world, it would blemish the city’s image and leave a bad reputation. so we have to work real hard on green olympics.
　　還有，為了各項工作的順利實施，一個高瞻遠(yuǎn)矚的整體城市規(guī)劃必不可少。如果時間允許，重新設(shè)計和調(diào)整北京的建筑風(fēng)格會為構(gòu)建北京的城市特色創(chuàng)造環(huán)境。把東方的精致和西方的宏偉結(jié)合在一起一定會在眾多建筑風(fēng)格中獨樹一幟。要做到以上幾點，北京應(yīng)該聽取得來自一流建筑師的建議并作出整體規(guī)劃。
　　thirdly, to add enchantment to convenience, an over-all city planning is indispensable. if time permits, a redesign of city layout and adjustment of architectural style would provide a better environment for fostering the characteristics, blending oriental elegance with international grandeur, will tower a lot among surrounding architectures. to achieve such effects, beijing shall solicit opinions from first-rate architects and make an overall plan.
　　盡管如此，要實現(xiàn)全世界對北京的期盼，北京還有許許多多工作要做。但我們有信心在2008年到來之前把北京建設(shè)成為一個全新的城市。巨大的變化每天都在這個城市發(fā)生，相信在不遠(yuǎn)的將來，北京將會成為全世界關(guān)注的焦點。世界相信北京，這也是北京申奧成功的原因。我們一定會抓住這次機遇并為之全力以赴。今天，我們還沒有做好準(zhǔn)備，但在2008年到來之前我們一定會準(zhǔn)備好！
